The LNM Institute of Information Technology, Jaipur, in association with Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI), hosted the National Workshop on Cryptology (NWC) 2023 on campus from 1st to 5th August 2023. The event featured invited talks by eminent researchers and practitioners who had been working in the area of Cryptology across various organizations and academic institutes across the country. The subject areas of the invited talks included Post-Quantum Cryptography, Light-Weight Cryptography, Homomorphic Encryption, and other advanced areas in Applied Cryptology. The workshop participants’ profile was indeed a mix of students engaged in the field of cryptology, cryptography products’ users from various defense and security agencies, and cryptology product developers from organizations and companies across the country.
The event significantly increased collaboration among cryptology researchers within the National Community. It also successfully exposed students and other workshop participants to the cutting-edge frontiers of research and development in Cryptology and Data Security. Moreover, the event played a pivotal role in assisting LNMIIT to create more collaboration opportunities with academia as well as industry partners for carrying out National Projects in the areas of Cryptology and Data Security.

International Conference on Security, Privacy and Applied Cryptographic Engineering 2022 (SPACE 2022) is twelfth in the series of conferences which started in 2011. This annual event is devoted to various aspects of security, privacy, applied cryptography, and cryptographic engineering. SPACE 2022 will be held from 9th to 12th December, 2022. The program co-chairs for SPACE 2022 are Lejla Batina (Radboud University, The Netherlands), Stjepan Picek (TU Delft, The Netherlands) and Mainack Mondal (Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur).
